Non account holders will be asked for a non-refundable 25% deposit on order and a 65% payment will be taken the day after template (unfortunately we will not be able to start production until that payment has been made and if the payment is late, it may affect the installation date). The balance will be due once the installation is complete.

To ensure the best finish full height backsplashes will be templated after the worktops are fitted and installed 5-7 working days later. All sockets, pelmets and end panels etc must be removed before installation of the backsplashes. Again, as with the worktops, access and fragility of material may mean they require jointing.

We would ideally like the customer to be present when we template so all can be agreed prior to manufacture to avoid any disappointment or misinterpretation of expectations.

To template we require all units be fixed back to the wall in the correct position, secure and level. Sinks, hobs and taps should be available on site with undermount sinks suspended in the unit and all end panels plus tops of the units should also be fixed in place.

You will need to remove all temporary or existing tops prior to templates being taken. We do not remove worktops and are unable to take an exact template with them in place. Unfortunately, we cannot remove sinks, hobs, taps or other appliances either and you must ensure the carcasses are suitable for granite worktops. If you are unable to do this, we are happy to offer some recommendations.

All samples are indicative only; natural stone can have significant variations from batch to batch. Due to the formation of the stone, ‘open’ fissures can be visible within the face, but this does not have an impact on the performance of your worktop. Quartz materials, although not as varied as natural stone, will still incur some batch variation. We would strongly recommend viewing the slabs prior to work commencing.

Slab sizes will vary due to current available stock, but the maximum length of a slab would be approximately three metres. However, for technical reasons such as: support, access and fragility they will have an impact on the length. The position of joints, if required, will be confirmed on template.
